Notification server

The notification server is used to provide a service for sending notification messages to notification objects on the platform. When the notification type is Mailbox, the notification server needs to be configured on the platform.

Caution: Currently, only Mailbox notification servers can be created through the interface. If you need to configure an SMS notification server, please contact our operations engineer for support.

Create a notification server

Prerequisites

Before creating a notification server, you need to have applied for or configured a notification server of the corresponding protocol type.

Procedure

1. In the left navigation bar, click System Settings > Notification Server.

2. Click Configure Now.

3. Configure the relevant parameters according to the following instructions.

   Parameter	Description
   Server Address	The address of the notification server that supports the SMTP protocol. For example: smtp.yeah.net.
   Port	The port number of the notification server. When Use SSL is selected, the SSL port number needs to be entered.
   Server Configuration	- Use SSL: Secure Socket Layer (SSL) is a standard security technology. The Use SSL switch is used to control whether to establish an encrypted link between the server and the client. - Skip Insecure Verification: The Skip Insecure Verification switch is used to control whether to verify the client certificate and server hostname. If the switch is turned on, the certificate and the hostname in the certificate will not be verified against the server hostname.
   Sender Email	The email account of the sender in the notification server, which is used to send notification emails.
   Enable Authentication	If authentication is required, configure the username and authorization code of the email server.

4. Click Create.
