Manage the alarm template

An alert template is a combination of alert rules and notification strategies for similar resources. With alert templates, you can easily and quickly create alert policies for clusters, nodes, or workloads on the platform.

Platform Management supports Platform Managers to centrally manage alert templates on the Operations Center and create and manage alert templates as needed.

Alert templates on the platform can be used in the Operations Center to quickly create alert policies for clusters, nodes, and workloads or in the container platform to create alert policies for specific workloads.

Create an Alert Template

Prerequisites

To configure automatic notification strategies for alerts, please configure Notifications in advance.

Procedure of Operation

1. In the left navigation pane, click on Operations Center > Alerts > Alert Templates.

2. Click on Create an Alert Template.

3. In the Basic Information section, configure the basic information for the alert template.

4. In the Alert Condition section, configure the alert rule groups in the alert template. Click on Add Alert Rule.

5. Refer to Create an Alert Policy to configure the relevant parameters.

6. Click Create.

Relevant Operations

You can click on the right side of the list page or on the top-right corner of the details page Operations to update or delete alert templates as needed.
