Export Cost Data

Export cost data across various dimensions and granularities within a specified time range.

Export Platform Cost Data

Procedure of operation

  1. In the left navigation bar, click Metering > CostManagement.

  2. Click Export Data in the upper left corner.

  3. Configure the relevant parameters according to the following instructions.

    Parameter Description
    Original Data Export cost data for all namespaces across the selected time range. This data is not aggregated in any statistical dimension.
    Aggregate Data Export cost data based on the selected statistical dimensions, data granularity, and time range.
    Platform Cost Export summarized cost data for multi-clusters or projects in the platform.

    Note: The available data granularity for exporting platform costs includes Cluster and Project.
    Cluster Cost Export cost data for one or more specified clusters. If you choose to export multiple clusters, a separate cost report will be generated for each cluster.

    Note:
    • You can only select and export cost data for clusters where the Kubecost plugin has been successfully deployed.
    • The available Statistical Dimension for exporting platform costs is Namespace and Project.
    Project Cost Export cost data for one or more specified projects. If you choose to export multiple projects, a separate cost report will be generated for each project.

    Note: You can only export cost data at the Namespace granularity.
    Time Range You can export cost data for a time range of up to the past 7 days.
    • Last 1 Day: Export cost data at hourly intervals for the selected dimensions.
    • Last 7 Days: Export cost data at daily intervals for the selected dimensions.
    • Custom: If the selected number of days to export is less than or equal to 2 days, export cost data at hourly intervals for the selected dimensions. If the selected number of days is more than 2 days but less than or equal to 7 days, export cost data at daily intervals for the selected dimensions, and the export data’s time points can be customized to the second.

  4. Click Export.
