#Prerequisites

Prepare the cluster and nodes before installing Alauda GPU Management.

#ACP and cluster access

• ACP v4.0-v4.3.
• Cluster administrator access to the target workload cluster where Alauda GPU Management will be installed.
• OperatorHub and Cluster Plugin installation are available in ACP.
• Package download from Customer Portal and package upload in ACP are available.

#Node and hardware

• NVIDIA GPU worker nodes. See Compatibility for the validated hardware and operating systems.
• x86_64 (amd64) architecture. The product package is amd64.
• Alauda Build of Node Feature Discovery is installed on the target workload cluster so shared OS, kernel, architecture, and PCI hardware labels are available before GPU components are reconciled.

#Choose a driver mode first

Decide how the GPU driver will be delivered before you create the ClusterPolicy. The choice determines which images you prepare and how you install. Make the choice once using the decision table in Install, then follow Configure the driver mode for the mechanics of the selected mode.
