Features and Enhancements
S3-Backed Storage for ClickHouse
Alauda Container Platform Log Storage for ClickHouse now supports S3 as the log data backend in separation-of-storage-and-compute deployments.
For more information, see How to Use S3 Storage with ClickHouse.
Cold and Hot Separation for ClickHouse
Alauda Container Platform Log Storage for ClickHouse now supports cold and hot separation for long-term retention scenarios.
Hot data remains in ClickHouse storage, while cold data is transferred to S3 according to the configured retention rules. This release also supports cold-data retention by log type.
For more information, see How to Use S3 Storage with ClickHouse and How to Set the Retention Time of Cold Data for a Project.
ClickHouse Placement Controls on Infra Nodes
Alauda Container Platform Log Storage for ClickHouse now supports plugin-level scheduling controls through Node Selectors and Node Tolerations.
This makes it easier to place ClickHouse storage workloads on dedicated infra nodes through standard plugin configuration.
If you previously used patch resources or valuesOverride-based customizations to define node selectors or tolerations separately, update the plugin configuration after upgrading to ACP 4.3. After the updated configuration takes effect, remove the related patch resources or override settings.
For more information, see Installation and Planning Infra Nodes for Logging Storage.
ClickHouse Table Schema Optimization
The ClickHouse table schema has been optimized by removing the duplicated logdata field.
This change reduces redundant data in ClickHouse tables.
Configurable Data Directory for Log Collector
Alauda Container Platform Log Collector now supports configuring its local working-data directory.
If you previously used valuesOverride-based customizations to define the Log Collector data directory separately, update the plugin configuration after upgrading to ACP 4.3. After the updated configuration takes effect, remove the related override settings.
For more information, see Installation.
MicroOS Log and Audit Collection
Alauda Container Platform Log Collector now supports collecting system logs and audit data from MicroOS nodes.
If you previously used valuesOverride-based customizations to enable or adjust MicroOS operating system log or audit collection separately, remove the related override settings after upgrading to ACP 4.3.
Compatibility with ACP 4.3.0
The Logging plugins in this release are compatible with ACP 4.3.0.
