Upgrading Alauda DevOps to v3.20

This guide provides a detailed explanation of the strategy and steps for upgrading Alauda DevOps to v3.20 when upgrading from Alauda Container Platform v3.18 or 4.0 to v4.1.

Prerequisites

Upgrade ACP Platform

First, Upgrade Alauda Container Platform platform from v3.18 or v4.0 to v4.1. For detailed instructions, refer to .

Upgrading Alauda DevOps

Upgrade Duration

Each Operator upgrade takes no more than 20 minutes.

NOTE
  • After upgrading ACP to v4.1, if you have deployed the Alauda DevOps Operator listed in the table below, and it is lower than the version listed, please follow the steps to upgrade to the following version.
  • To upgrade Alauda DevOps to the v3.20 scenario, it is necessary to deploy or upgrade DevOps Tool Operator, Alauda DevOps v3, Alaida DevOps Eventing v3, and Alauda DevOps Jenkins v3 to the following versions.

Download the Operator

  1. From the Alauda Customer Portal, Download the table above to list the Alauda DevOp v3.20 Operators.
  2. Navigate to the CLI Tools section in the Alauda Customer Portal and download the violet tool to upload Operators toACP, For specific operation steps, refer to .

Upgrade Operator

  1. Then go to Administrator → Marketplace → Operator Hub, switch to the target cluster, open the details page of the corresponding Operator, and click the Upgrade button to perform the upgrade.
NOTE
  • For DevOps Tool Operator, Alauda DevOps v3, Alaida DevOps Eventing v3, and Alauda DevOps Jenkins v3 , if it doesn't exist, please deploy it directly.

Upgrade Instance

  1. After the Operator upgrade is completed, you can view the version of the tool instance in Alauda DevOps -> Switch to Administrator -> DevOps Toolchain -> Instances, click the instance upgrade button, and ensure that the instance version is consistent with the Alauda DevOp v3.20 Version Matrix.
