- Upgraded Gitlab to version v17.8.7 in this release.
- Fixed vulnerabilities by applying critical security patches to both the operator and gitlab components.
Fixed Issues
- Before this update, the operator continuously reconciled GitLab instances because of the HPA resource, which resulted in high CPU usage. With this update, the operator reconciles GitLab instances normally, reducing CPU consumption.

Security Updates: This release includes important security patches to address potential vulnerabilities in the operator and its dependencies.
Fixed Issues
- Before this update, the plugin installed a ClusterRole and several namespace-scoped Role objects that used the wildcard ("*") for both resources and verbs. With this update, all wildcard entries have been replaced by explicit resource and verb lists that match only the operations required by the plugin.
